ABOUT ME

Nourishing your body, mind, and spirit through holistic nutrition is my passion.

I’m Tamra, a certified holistic nutritionist specializing in mental health and addiction recovery. With over 15 years of experience as a professional chef, my journey in the culinary world began in the bustling kitchens of Chicago, where I learned that food is not just about flavor—it’s about healing, connection, and transformation.

My own personal mental health journey led me to a life-changing revelation: food has the power to support mental clarity, emotional balance, and recovery. After breaking free from a life dependent on medications, I became deeply committed to helping others use food as a tool to reclaim their well-being. This path led me to holistic nutrition, and I’m now proud to guide individuals in their recovery from addiction and mental health challenges.

I graduated from The Nutritional Therapy Institute and am a proud member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. My training has equipped me with a deep understanding of how nutrition can play a transformative role in healing the body and mind. I currently work with clients at The Raleigh House, a treatment center in Denver, where I help individuals in recovery from addiction and mental health conditions discover how nourishing, whole foods can support emotional stability, improve brain health, and foster long-term healing.

Through my holistic approach, I teach clients how to use food to manage stress, reduce anxiety and depression, and stabilize mood—key factors in successful addiction recovery. I offer personalized one-on-one counseling and group nutrition therapy, providing the tools, guidance, and support needed to make lasting changes in their relationship with food, body, and mind.

My approach integrates the latest nutritional science with practical, easy-to-follow meal planning and mindful eating practices. I believe that healing through food should be empowering and enjoyable, not restrictive or overwhelming. Eating well isn’t about perfection—it’s about nourishing yourself in a way that supports your unique needs, goals, and recovery.

If you’re ready to explore the healing power of food and take control of your health, I’d love to work with you. Together, we’ll craft a personalized nutrition plan that not only supports your recovery but also enhances your overall well-being—helping you thrive, both mentally and physically.
